SOLUTION DEVELOPED:
The MyAway app in Guest-Tek-enabled hotels allows users to pair their devices to the hotel TV. From the device, users will have control of the in-room TV experience, including the TV remote control. They can also navigate TV menus, view the program guide, browse, and purchase hotel movie content.

Created a universal app (MyAway) to support iPhones and iPad with added features for convenience so guests can connect directly to the OneView Media system with their iOS and Android devices. Also created a supported integrated TV option through LG and Samsung that require no set-top box. The Integrated option feature reduces cost and in-room cabling requirements and simplifies engineering responsibilities for the hotel.
